Scholar is a Tag in Divinity: Original Sin 2 that allows the player to have certain dialogue with NPCs and certain options during Quests. Please see below for a list.
Scholar Dialogue Options
- When running into Bishop Alexander and Magister Atusa in Fort Joy.
- When speaking to Myra in Fort Joy if you try to call for help.
- Speaking to Doctor Leste in Fort Joy Ghetto
- When speaking to Migo in Fort Joy. Results in him attacking you.
AnonymousWay too important. I don't understand their design process here ... lets make a mandatory tag that everyone needs ... and then add a bunch of tags that nobody ever needs, like barbarian. Genius !

Do any of the NPC's you can hire have this tag? I'm trying to read the Hymn on bloodmoon and I don't have the tag myself and I'm doing a solo honor run

Probably the best tag in the game, you can do lots with this tag in terms of finding out more information, bypassing fights, or even solving quests for example in Act 2 the Danger to Herself and Others quest. Highly recommend your persuasion character to have this tag.
This seems like bad game design to require a tag that you can only obtain at the character creation.
