Searched all over Google and couldn't find an answer of where to find the Goo to make these Silencing Stare scrolls. Finally discovered, as I suspected, that you won't come across Goo until you get to Arx. Before Arx it's just slime or ooze or clay, you won't find Goo until Arx.

Alien essence can only be bought/found, not crafted. You'll start seeing it once you hit lvl16. I've searched the entire freaking Internet at this point and still can't find an actual answer as to where to obtain Goo. I'm fairly confident I have never seen it before. Seen slime, seen Ooze barrels, but no Goo.

Goo is the green disgusting slim you get from a barrel or directly from slim ennemies (just like in the black pit fight with Jhonattan (former friend of Garret)

since it scales with INT and character level (not skill level to boost this skill multiplicativ because its not elemental or physical damage), this spell can be inferior in damage compared with basic skills like fossil strike or fireball so i wonder if this spell is worth to buy? the AOE silence can be handy (conical range of 13m, quite good) but if it does 75 to 50% of the same damage of those basic skills it sucks a little. lonewolf parties will have this problem but maybe with a party of 4 character this spell become worth it?
