Suffocating is a status in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Suffocating is the Magic Armor counterpart of Acid, which destroys Physical Armor.

- These conditions deal about 56% base level damage to armor every round. The damage is based on the caster's level, not the receiver;

- Two easy ways to estimate how much this armor damage will be is to multiply the damage of any Bleeding effect by about 1.5, or to check the armor damage Corrosive Touch deals and divide it by about 1.57 (ie, if Bleeding causes targets to take 20 damage at your current level, Acid and Suffocate will cause about 30 damage);

- The armor damage is not affected by any attribute or skill, only level.

      I'm putting together a mixed DMG aero/necro build. Can't seem to figure out how much damage suffocating does to mgc armor each turn. Skills like black shroud and vacuum touch could be used effectively I think, but how does the damage scale?
