      For 2 AP and 1 SP it does very decent damage even on a non Aerothurge mage Beast. My level 14 dual dagger Beast with 3 Aero does about 270 damage on a normal backstab, and 220 damage with this skill. It doesnt seem to scale with Str Fin or Int, just level and Aero. Because of Gag order and Chloroform, i find myself using Petrifying touch and Blinding Squall to debuff enemies without magic armour quite often

        useful for blinding phys dmg dealer, casted from above so you can target people almost everywhere, pretty big aoe, not that bad honestly if other skills are in cd
