Went to this dude and the vines weren't there. They were just like at Amadia's scantuary (rolled up vines). I could TP up and roll down the vines but in 360 hours gametime i've never seen this. Didn't read it here so I thought I'd post it.

Not sure if it's bugged or it just bugged for me in particular, but the pacifist dialogue choices didn't get me the 2250 xp. Killing him afterwards did tho.

I'd rather kill this bastard. He actually likes what Dallis does to sourcerers and saying that they become silent and that he even prefers if they become shriekers when he says that sometimes they become even more than silent

If you want to let him live, here are the prompts to follow:
- Ask him what he is doing there.
- [Persuasion Constitution][Hero] You hear the fear in his voice.
- Ask him to continue his story.
- Take Pity on him and tell him to leave.
(dialogue options aren't worded exactly as above, but that should lead to the non-fight option)

Teleported him in the center of the camp. Poor dude fought alone against 12... I laughed like a maniac ^^

He has a letter on him that talks to a Kasper who the document claims is already dead. The magister calls him a monster and that because of him he lost his family. Maybe his brother was a sourcerer?

Teleported him into seeker camp, and gave the finishing blow (somehow didnt end up in combat mode while standing next to the npcs fighting), ended up angering the whole camp for murdering him for some reason. He's a magister for *****s sake!

I found (if you feel like sparing him) use hero constitution then get him to continue his story and finally take pity on him. Doesn't really get you much unless you feel like being nice.

I used hero constitution and passed but in the end he basically called me a silver tongue devil and fought me anyways.

Strenght check passed, showed mercy, tried to let him go yet still fought me. Gave him the fair 1v1 duel and he lost.

Got the letter to kasper after slaying him. It had a sad message on it. I don't know if is gonna be useful later. Poora Ames...

Tried both the Int and Memory check, you end up fighting him even after passing both. Bug or is there just no outcome where he leaves?

You can trade with him as a vendor in dialogue, but I noticed that too late.

If you let him escape you don't get no exp, so what's the point?

Ames is mentioned by Dallis in a note "Orders from Dallis" found on a magister corpse at x:366 y:145, nice little tie-in that you can actually find him.

I teleport him into the middle of the encampment and let the seekers exact revenge on him while I buff and heal them.

If you want to spare him, choose persuasion checks that don't involve stopping to talk. Telling him to leave with his life lets him escape.
Not sure if this plays towards anything later in the future, but hey less killing.

It's a magister. Kill him with no mercy.
