Magister Captain Trippel is an Enemy in Divinity: Original Sin 2.
Magister Captain Trippel information
- Can be found arguing with Paladin Cork inside Fort Joy.
- Will immediately become hostile when getting close to him or close to any of the roaming Magisters nearby. There is no way to avoid combat.
Magister Captain Trippel location
- Magister Captain Trippel appears in Fort Joy, near the main entrance to the large castle area.
Notes and Tips
- Trippel holds the key to the nearby gates, which will unlock a path out of the fort via the docks.
- Gives 800 XP if killed.
- Known skills: Battle Stomp, Blitz Attack, Crippling Blow, Peace of Mind, Whirlwind
- Will always cast Peace of Mind whenever possible.
- He will relentlessly focus Paladin Cork during the fight. It is wise to take him out quickly if you wish to save the Cork.
Combat Trick: Trippel Lockout
- You can sneak and use the Teleportation skill to put Trippel in a nearby locked cage behind a chandelier. This will start the fight with Trippel unable to do anything while you take care of everyone outside.
- Warning: Trippel knows Blitz Attack, if a character is within range he will target them and escape.

- Alternatively: You could use this same trick on Paladin Cork to trap him in a safe room to ensure he doesn't die.
