Magister Houndmaster is an NPC / Enemy in Divinity: Original Sin 2.
Magister Houndmaster information
- The houndmaster is seen interrogating Delorus, Accusing him of freeing prisoners.
- No matter what, conversing with the houndmaster leads to a fight.

- The Houndmaster is located in the Holding Cells.
Notes and Tips
- Gives 975 XP if killed.
- Known skills: Summon Source Hound, Crippling Blow, Blitz Attack, and Encourage.
- Always drops Zaikk's Talon and the Shiny Red Ball.
Combat Trick: Houndmaster Lockout
- You can use the Teleportation skill to wedge the houndmaster in a corner behind a brazier that will get him stuck. This doesn't prevent him from summoning his source hound, but he's basically removed from the fight.
- Warning: The houndmaster knows Blitz Attack, if a character is within range he will target them and escape.

Combat Trick: High Ground & Positioning
- Sneaking will allow you to get closer and into a more advantageous position. You can then use a teleportation skill (such as Tactical Retreat, Cloak and Dagger, or Spread your Wings) and gain high ground immediately before the fight. This gives characters with ranged attacks a powerful vantage point and bonus high ground damage.

You can also give the Shiny Red Ball to the dog Buddy near Fort Joy for a short diaolgue option

not sure why, but he did not summon the hound first round.
Only happend once until now, lucky me stunned him the rest of the fight until he died.
I just teleported him to the floor to my meeles like always and he decided to normal hit me and end his turn without summoning the hound
