Marksman's Fang trivia & strategies
- Low cooldown, potential to hit multiple targets and its inherent piercing damage make this a very useful skill indeed
- Like special arrows, this skill converts 100% of weapon damage into its specified damage type (piercing), including damage added by Elemental Arrowheads, Venom Coating, or Firebrand
- The arrow attempts to travel on parallel to the ground after hitting a target, so it's possible to hit multiple targets even when shooting from high ground, but the trajectory does not always go as expected

magister archer near the sourceress summoner lizard in Act 2 just bonged me with constant fangs, i killed her no problem but holy **** , i should cc enemies before their abilities are on cooldown so they will get no advantage from being incapacitated, especially that this ability has 2 turn short CD. Archers have some of the best and the worst abilities in this game.

The magister archer circling Hannag seems to have 0 or 1 turn cooldown the skill. She used it on me three time in 3 successive turns. Saw others on reddit had the same issue.

apparently this skill chains to other enemies in a decent radius. they dont even have to be in a line

This should be obvious but, in addition to helping with magic kills or other piercing damage, this can help finish enemies that keep buffing their phys armor.

If you have a mixed damage party, it is useful to do hp damage to targets your mages are targeting without having to strip physical armor.

Less useful if that's your only piercing attack in the entire party.

Converts the damage from elemental bonus and poisoning to true damage as well, so might be worth poisoning your ranged weapons even if you're not damaging magic armor

Can also be had on elf eating severed head near destroyed caravan with dwarf survivor near Driftwood.

this is a good skill. especially shows in mixed damage parties, and helps to save elemental arrows while dealing with magic armour. I prefer pawn on my rangers so that I could line up their skills better and it especially shows with marksman's fang. Low CD is also appreciated. I know people like ballistic shot and others, but if I am optimizing my ranger build then this is one of the only offensive skills I keep.
