Is it just me, or do pretty much ALL of the unique items in this game suck?
it looks like they constantly refined the power curves of all the random loot from normal to divine, but never bothered to go back and adjust the uniques to compensate.
as it is, they seem to pretty much do normal to uncommon level damage. most rares outdo them even. sad.
someone needs to do an overhaul mod to make them more useful.
or how about: all uniques automatically level up when you do. that AND a buff to damage that puts them on a par with legendary gear would make most uniques actually worth keeping.

It is given to you by the elves in the Elven Camp near the Abandoned Livewood Sawmill in Act II after you free Saheila and escort her back to them.

Got one off the elves in the Elven Camp after they attacked me when I tried to walk by them after failed persuasion attempt.
For anyone curious, here's what the spear of foes looks like at level 18, if you scale it using corbin day (by reverse pickpocketing it into his pants, since it is not available to be sold to him normally)
