The Bears Objectives
- (Optional) Use Pet Pal to talk to the bears and find out their honey "smells" funny
- Bears become hostile if you try to take their honey. Once killed they turn into Voidwoken bears. The nearby body has 3 empty jars for you to steal some honey which you can do without killing them
- Using Spirit Vision reveals the spirit of a Sourcerer who's experience with the honey explains what really happened

No you don't. It's called sneaking and/or having 2 party members in conversation with both of them.

One of my bears is gone walkies saw him there earlier but only one bear is there now ?

you don't need to kill the bears to get the honey. Just talk to the two of them with two characters, then stealth a 3rd and steal the honey when they're distracted.

What about the mommy bear with the 2 cubs in Cloisterwood? There doesn't seem to be anything to do with them (except they die if Hannag teaches you the source)

If you have pet pal, they just talk about not touching their honey, but something "smells" funny about the honey. If you attack them or try their honey, they attack you. Once you kill one of them, they turn into voidwoken bears.
