Wizard's Hat Agaric is an ingredient in Divinity: Original Sin II.

"Just like a wizard's hat, this mushroom can hold more within it than meets the untrained eye."

Wizard's Hat Agaric is an ingredient that is not used in any known recipes. You can eat it to gain 1 memory for two turns. You can also use a poison source on Wizard's Hat Agaric to add a small amount of poison damage to it. This appears to cancel out the memory bonus for undead characters, although non-undead characters will still receive it upon consuming the poisoned version.

Where to find:

  • Wizard's Hat Agaric is received as a gift from Ifan Ben-Mezd. The dialogue option for getting it becomes available upon reaching Driftwood

If you use the optional mod from Larian that lets you combine plants with empty buckets, you can turn this into a wizard hat agaric seedling and harvest more of them.

Disappointed to see it have such a lackluster effect. Ifan hands it over to you while saying "it's very useful if someone you're dining with needs to die really fast". Figured it would basically insta-kill you, but sadly not. Would be fun to give to friends as a joke, or to use in a "Unstable" talent combo to blow yourself up and do some damage to enemies before reviving with idol, or something similar. Unfortunate.

Since you can't modify skills during combat (afaik), and 2 turns isn't enough time to make a difference outside of combat, what's the point? Sell it.
