I can't find a single Shadowblade based build. Most "assassin" builds are based off of rogues. Any help would be appreciated

If you don't start with thievery then pick this class for the earliest companion you can get. If you get this class for Fane or Red Prince on level 1, you can have 2 thievery in the joy (or even 3 with All Skilled Up) which helps a lot.

As a tips : A cross classes that work very well based on DOS1 Shadowblade and ported to DOS2 is an Elf with 1 thieviery and 1 necromancy, 1 in Intel, Dext, and Wits, than max necr (with stuff and points) at around 5. Take the leech talent level 1 at the creation. You will obtain a character with an absurd sustain, high mobility and DPS, with minimal investment in term of points. Moreover, the cross-class build allow you to build up thief and mage armor, giving you high magic armor and mid phy armor. Combined with your high mobility, you can strike on any elemental surface without fear, then TP away or sneak. With the amazing dps of some Thief source skill, you can regen full life from one spell or combo. Try it, you'll enjoy it ;)

The Shadow-blade has one more attribute point. so for mid maxers maybe this is the class to pick then change the ever living crap out of it to be a wizard or something.

Interesting bug with Shadowblade. When recruiting an Origin character to your party as a Shadowblade, the attribute point they are supposed to get for having one point in Polymorph will be lost for the entirety of the game. I imagine this probably happens with any class that starts with a point(s) in Polymorph.
