Blessed Smoke Cloud is an Aerotheurge Skill in Divinity Original Sin 2.
Blessed Smoke Cloud Location
- Combine any Aerotheurge Skill book and any Scoundrel Skill book. (Either one or both must be a Source Skill)
Blessed Smoke Cloud Effects
- Scroll cannot be crafted
- Cannot be deflected
- Is affected by range bonuses (Far Out Man, Farsight)
- The smoke cloud clears Silence as well as applying Invisibilty.
- Invisibility will be applied instantly as soon as characters step foot in the cloud.
Blessed Smoke Cloud Notes and Tips
- Invisibility will be removed by effects (such as Wet from rain) until the turn of the character(s) inside the cloud arrive, in which case Invisibility will be re-applied.
- As it is a Blessed environmental effect, Curse will revert it into a normal smoke cloud.
- Other ways to get blessed smoke clouds is to first use a smoke grenade or arrow and then bless it, alternatively use Smoke Cloud to spawn it around the character. While these methods cost more AP (and is non-targetable in case of Smoke Cover), they cost one less Source
- Area of Effect was increased to 4m (from 3m) as of Patch v3.0.168.526

Useless if you are doing a solo run, you can just use smoke cover and bless it to get invis for 2 ap 1 source point, which is a much better deal. If you used Apotheosis that skill costs 1ap 0 source but that's too situational, because you will probably use skin graft and get your chameleon cloak back.
Can be very useful in party tho because unlike normal smoke, you can place this far away.

First person who commented, you can just plan ahead like, 3 steps, and wait to cast it at the end of your turn

SP cost is too high for this to be useful. May as well cast Smoke cloud and then bless it for only 1 SP.
>Why the heck would I want to be invisible during my turn and visible during enemy turn?
The only thing that makes no sense is your reading comprehension.

"...until the turn of the character(s) inside the cloud arrive, in which case Invisibility will be re-applied." That is insanely stupid... Why the heck would I want to be invisible during my turn and visible during enemy turn??? It makes 0 sense... The way this should work is applies invisibility after You end your turn, not when your turn comes... Otherwise this is just absolutely useless since during your turn you will want to attack right? So during enemy turn you will be visible, therefore rendering the whole idea of blessed cloud useless invisibilitywise...
So as a rogue you can use this well out of combat, use it right next to a stationary npc use it for cover/invis and steal for a good moment. in combat can use it for multiple attacks and dip back into stealth, npc wouldnt understand how to use the cloud unless they have to walk through it.
