Effie is an NPC in Divinity: Original Sin 2.
Effie information
- Effie sells 4 different kinds of herb mixes. The player may use these herbs at the dreamer pipe behind her in order to obtain various temporary buffs.
- Alertness: grants a buff that increases Wits by 5. has a duration of 50 turns.
- Courage: grants a buff that increases Constitution by 5. Has a duration of 50 turns.
- Enlightenment: grants a buff that increases Intelligence by 5. Has a duration of 50 turns.
- Ferocity: grants a buff that increases starting AP by 2, and AP recovery by 2. Has a duration of 50 turns.
- Effie's Notebook can be pickpocketed from Effie to learn the recipes for the mixes mentioned above. However, it'd be cheaper just to buy mixes from her for 150 gold, since all of them require drudanae to be produced (which is more expensive on its own).
- By helping Grebb the Scholar with his research the player can unlock recipes for more potent mixes - they give the same effects, but their duration is increased to 100 turns.

Notes and Tips
- A useful tactic is to use these buffs just prior to the arena fights; the "ferocity mix" is particularly useful.
